To all Former Drummers and “Friends” of the H A C Corps of Drums
Further to my recent letter concerning the new Drum Majors Stave Fund I am delighted at the initial response to our contribution request.
Stuart Sutton our treasurer reports that we have received a number of donations from both former drummers and “Friends of the Corps” I would therefore on behalf of the Association thank those who have been so generous. to date
Our sub committee comprising of Roger Davenport, Brian Harrod, D/Major Warren Alexander – Pye, Roy Flewin (Silversmith) and Chris Collins (Military & Heraldic Artist) have been working on the production of the Stave a sketch of which is shown below.
Whilst we have, as I stated earlier received a number of donations there are still quite a few members and friends who said they would contribute and then possibly forgot to post the cheque to Stuart Sutton
So as a reminder if you would like to make a donation (in confidence) to the fund and have not already done so, please send your cheque made payable to HACDA to:
